O is for Outdoors

We did math outside. We wrote to 100 or 120 with side walk chalk. We played outside. We did writing. We wrote about our 5 senses. We wrote things like, "I felt a rock." or "I taste fruit salad."

O is for Outdoors

N is for Nighttime.

We wore pajamas for nighttime day. We watched part of Aladdin today. We all liked the song. We watched it until it got to the genie song. Some people wore slippers. Pajamas are fun. Some of us did not have pajamas but that's okay. It was fun anyways. Pajamas are warm! Good thing it was cool outside today.  

Today was movie day.  We watched The Emperor's New Groove.  The emperor was kind of bossy and mean.  The evil emperor's advisor turned him into a llama!  He ended up in the middle of the jungle by himself and he ran away from the bad guys.  The emperor and his friend ended up at the palace.  Last, he turns back into himself.  In the end he was a nice emperor.  Alyssa said, "the movie was amazing!"

We got a free book.  Brookelyn's book is about food.  Lexi's book is a fiction book about haunted houses.  Deja's book is Goldilocks and The Three Bears.  Gavin's book is a Pokemon drawing book.  Aryana's book is about dinosaurs.  Evan's book is an Angry Bird drawing book. Nathaniel's book is about a little girl that wants to be a teenager.  Aubrey's book is A Brave Bunny.  Sophia's book is about the hawk family.  Alyssa's book is about a silly puppy. Alissa's book is about Christmas.  Janaii's book is a big book about Christmas.  Samantha's book is about Santa and his reindeer. Sofi said, "I love books".

H is for Hawaiian day.

Today we had an assembly. It was about music. People were playing violins, flutes, saxophones and clarinets. It was a Spring instrumental concert. They played good and they are just beginners. We also celebrated Ms. Stevenson and Miss Colleen's graduation! Congratulations! Deja said, "It was a nice assembly." 

G is for Graduating

F is for Friendship

E is for Excercize. We excercized. We did the Chicken Fat song from when Mrs. Gengler and Mrs. Kozlosky were in first grade. We danced to Who Let The Dogs Out. We danced to Just Dance. We danced to the Gummy Bear Song. In the morning after snack we went outside to run around the track two times. Then we could play on the playground. We did push ups. Aubrey did a bridge. We did the twist. It was fun doing excercize. Aria said, "We had a blast." 

It was doughnut day.  They were chocolate and white.  We got to eat them at the end of the day.  They were good.  Gavin brought them in.  They were yummy. We each got two of them. Who doesn't like doughnuts?  Jasmine said,"The doughnuts were delicious".

We took our chicks out today. Our chicks got excercize. The chicks ran around. Some chicks pooped. Some chicks pecked at our fingers. They were really cute. They are adorable. One was funny. It was the black one. He tripped a little but he got right back up. He is a strong little guy. We are sad they have to go to the farm tomorrow. But we know, they will be happy and safe.

A is for Apples

We made applesauce.  It was delicious.  It tasted good.  We put cinnamon in it.  We put apples in it.  It was like store bought applesauce but it was brown, chunky and warm.  Max said, "I didn't really like it".

We used an apple peeler to peel and cut our apples.
